About our Pastor
Pastor Chris Aikens preached his first message on December 31, 1993 at the age of 15. He has been in ministry for almost 23 years. During that time, He has served as a praise team member playing the drums and performing in dramas as a teenager and young adult.
He has traveled as an evangelist speaking in revivals and saw many people saved, healed and delivered in those meetings. Pastor Chris has worked as a church administrator, youth pastor and Assistant Pastor of New Life helping his father Dr. Roger Aikens.
He has also traveled around the world to preach and help his former Pastor minister in meetings as well.
Pastor Chris served as a personal travel assistant, travel coordinator and Associate Pastor to Dr. Mike Murdock and helped birthed the Wisdom Center Church in Fort Worth Texas.
He has a diploma in Biblical Studies from World Vision Bible College Pastor Jentezen Franklin. He holds an Associate of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies from Southwest Bible College and is in pursuit of his Doctor of Theology degree as well.
Pastor Chris has been ordained thru New Life Praise Center of Lawrenceville and Gateway Ministerial Association in Locust Grove GA. He is also ordained thru Lighthouse International Ministries Atlanta, GA and World Harvest Church Ministerial Fellowship in Columbus, Ohio.
Pastor Chris now serves as the Lead Pastor of New Life in Lawrenceville, GA and has for the past 4 years. His desire is to see people transformed by the Word of God. To see the disciples of Christ stand up and the name of the Lord glorified. Pastor Chris has a passion for everyone to know that Jesus Christ is who he says he is. And with that message his life motto is dream big for God is Big!
